
Joanne Milroy has provided communication advice to some of the world’s largest and most well-known organisations. She also has extensive experience working with high profile public organisations, well-known individuals and family offices.
Joanne has worked on many high-profile crisis and issue reputational situations, including change events such as business closures, mergers and acquisitions, serious accidents, high profile litigation, labour disputes, stakeholder activism and other reputational challenges.
She also helps clients develop long term communication strategies to support their business objectives including the development of strong stakeholder relationships and employee engagement programmes. She serves as a charity Trustee and also works with clients to develop their philanthropic activities.
Joanne started her working life as a journalist and retains a strong interest in creative content development. She has been part of senior leadership teams in a number of global communication consultancies including Weber Shandwick and APCO Worldwide.
She has worked across a range of sectors but has particular experience of industrial and manufacturing businesses, food and retail, energy and the environment.
She is a graduate of Durham University.
